Everyone seems to want whiter teeth. Whether your teeth have stained, yellowed, or discolored over the years, or you just naturally have darker teeth, we can help you make them whiter and brighter.
Whitening, or bleaching, as it is often called is one of the most common, safe, and comfortable processes we do. Years of study and experience have show there to be no ill effects to your teeth or gums from the whitening process, and only occasionally minor, short-lived sensitivity.
In-office whitening usually requires just one visit and takes around an hour. A powerful peroxide whitening gel is applied to your teeth. During the procedure we ensure that your gums and soft tissues are protected. Once the session is finished you will immediately see the results. Your teeth are usually significantly whiter than where you started.
At-home whitening starts with us making molds of your teeth. From these molds, we custom-make very thin plastic whitening trays for you. These trays cover your teeth when they are worn and are used to hold the whitening gel safely in contact with the teeth. Generally, a small amount of peroxide gel we supply you with(less potent than for in-office whitening) is put into both upper and lower trays. It is recommended that the trays with the gel be worn an hour a day for two weeks. The results can be as good as the in-office process but will normally take about two weeks to get there.
